Providing resources to people and ministries that empower them to go deeper in their individual faith journeys as well as in their service to their communities.
New Book by J.C. Hawkins
In a country where the lines between religion and politics are blurring more and more, if you’re wondering what role your faith should play in your politics as an evangelical Christian in America, this should clear it all up for you.
Thy Kingdom Come is a investigation into the depth and power The Lord’s Prayer should have on the daily lives and thought processes of those who identify as modern evangelical Christians. Taking an in-depth look at The Lord’s Prayer and its context in The Sermon on the Mount, Thy Kingdom Come seeks to answer the question “Where are Christians to stand in a world defined by politics?” through the lens of our Savior Jesus Christ. It also takes a critical look at whether we are living up to that vision Jesus defined for the church in very clear and defined terms. Packed with scripture and aligned with Jesus’ own words, this will hopefully call us all back to living with our hearts set on Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done.
Brainstorm Ministries’ first published book is now out on Amazon!
Geared The Parables Volume One is a deep dive into seven parables of Jesus taking teens to a new level of understanding of what these parables meant to their original audience, what that means for us today, and how they can transform our relationship with the Savior.
In this first book we explore our first two themes, Lost Things and Fruitful Things, by examining the parables:
The Lost Sheep
The Lost Coin
The Lost Son
The Barren Fig Tree
The Two Sons
The Wicked Tenant
The Sower
In case you were wondering, Brainstorm doesn’t take donations nor does it charge subscription fees. If you’d like to support this ministry and see it grow, please consider purchasing a copy. While written with a student audience in mind, adults will also find plenty of challenging insights from a fresh new look at the parables of Christ.
